Tiling & stone

Tile the room only once it's truly ready.

Tiling is the trade that gets blamed for everyone else's delay — you can't set out until the screed's cured, the waterproofing's passed and the walls are square. SiteLive holds your crews back until each wet area is genuinely ready, and warns you the moment the trade in front of you slips.

What you get

  • Set-out, fixing and grouting booked as stages per wet area
  • Clash alerts when waterproofing or screed isn't signed off
  • Tile and stone deliveries timed to the fixing slot, not the day
  • Crew lookahead so tilers aren't idle waiting on a cure
  • Defect and lippage snags captured against each room
  • Invited subbie tilers confirm their slots for free

How it works

  1. 1
    Break it into wet areas

Each bathroom, kitchen and floor becomes a bookable area with its own set-out, fix and grout stages.

  2. 2
    Wait on the predecessors

Link fixing to waterproofing and screed sign-off, so you're warned before a crew mobilises onto an untested floor.

  3. 3
    Snag as you finish

Capture lippage and grout defects against the room, building the punch list before handover.

FAQ

Can we stop tiling over failed waterproofing?

Yes. Link fixing to the waterproofing test sign-off as a predecessor; if fixing tries to start early, the clash shows immediately.

Can we schedule by room instead of by day?

Rooms and wet areas are first-class bookable areas, so set-out in one bathroom is a separate slot from the next.

How are big stone deliveries handled?

Slabs and tiles are booked to the fixing slot with the lift or trolley you need, so material lands when the crew does.

Do subbie tilers pay?

No. Invited subbies confirm free; one flat price per site.
